Abstract
The review analyzes the main approaches to the legal regulation of technologies of genetic modification of organisms in Germany. The issues of legal regulation of the use of genetic engineering modification technologies in agricultural production at the federal level and at the level of German lands, as well as the features and limitations of the use of genetic engineering technologies in relation to the human body are considered. The latest legal, comparative legal and interdisciplinary studies on the designated range of issues of legal development are highlighted.
