Abstract

The relevance of the chosen subject of a research is caused by need of stu- dying of problems of shadow economy and search of ways of minimization of its influence on economic security of subjects of economic activity. In modern economic realities crime and shadow economic activity are the integral facts of life around the world. Practically all subjects of financial and economic and public infrastructure are involved in process of counteraction and cont- rol of these types of activity by means of involvement in this process of elements of education, punishment or prosecution. In modern conditions the problem of shadow economy reached significant scales and threatens economic security of subjects of various level of managing. It is necessary to notice that only in the system of ensuring economic security conditions are created and methods of counteraction to economic threats are formed, including outgoing threats from the shadow sector. In counteraction of economic crime which is a component of criminal shadow economy use only of analytical and methodical approaches to minimization of shadow processes is not enough. Collecting and the correct processing of statistical data on active participants of shadow economic activity, about the frequency to which there is an underground activity and about scales of this activity are crucial for acceptance of the effective and effective solutions concerning distribution of resources in the sphere of a shadow turn. This subject still remains very disputable, and there are disagreements concerning definition of shadow economic activity, assessment procedures and use of estimates in the economic analysis and development of policy. Nevertheless, around the world there are serious signs of the general growth of shadow economy.
