Abstract

The aim of this study is to reveal the role of “epitext” in developing the literary reputation of Naki Isanbet (1899-1992). In this article, the media image of the classic of the Tatar literature, scientist-encyclopaedist is examined by the material of his portrait (personal) and subject-personal interviews in the regional media of various typologies: in newspapers, magazines, on radio and television. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the fact that for the first time in the Tatar literary criticism, N. Isanbet’s interviews have become a subject of study. The analysis of N. Isanbet’s interviews and speeches on radio is carried out with references to the formal and content components of his works of art, scientific works, which makes it possible to detect the author’s specific personal intentions in his heritage and fix them. As a result of the study, it has been proved that N. Isanbet remained devoted to the educational ideals of the youth throughout his life.
