Abstract

The results of computer studies aimed at analyzing the effect of high-speed trains on the performance indicators of railway power supply systems are presented. Modeling was carried out during the movement of passenger trains with sectional speeds of 230 and 60 km / h. It is shown that a sharp increase in the speed of movement leads to a six-fold increase in currents in the contact wires and a decrease in voltage at the current receivers by two kilovolts. Current loads during the movement of high-speed trains become pulsed
