Abstract
The article reveals the problem of public trust in science and its relationship with the phenomenon of the crisis of reproducibility. The authors rely on the conducted sociological study «Attitude of student youth to modern science and the problem of reproducibility», concerning interest in science, the problem of public trust and the crisis of reproducibility. The article considers domestic and foreign sources on this issue. Possible consequences are analyzed and ways to overcome the crisis state of science are proposed. The crisis of reproducibility is considered in a heuristic context, as a manifestation of the internal laws of the development of science.
