Abstract

The article explores the main directions of changes and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus in 2022 as a response to the challenges of our time. The role of new constitutional approaches in relation to the development of the constitutional and legal status of the individual, updating the concept of the relationship between the individual, society, and the state is reflected. Attention is drawn to constitutional reforms related to the search for a new institutional balance (redistribution of powers between the President, Parliament, Government, constitutionalization of the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly). Other constitutional novelties are being studied, including those that testify to the expansion of the powers of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus.
