Abstract
A paper "Essence of color" in an integrated manner, not
 only in cultural synthesis, but also in scientific one, reveals problems
 of the color: its physical properties and aesthetics in the perspective
 of modern educational process. The points raised in this paper can
 serve as a new integrated approach to the phenomenon of color, as
 well as the basis for the development of learning and teaching
 programs on a range of academic disciplines: "History of art",
 "History of culture", "Chromatics", "Painting".
