Abstract

Objectives The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of Human Papilloma Virus(HPV) vaccination intention and to suggest a baseline data for enhancement of the HPV vaccination intention of male fresh men in university students.
 Methods Data were collected from june 30 to November 30, 2020 using a structural questionnaire, which was completed by 162 students in D, K city. The collected data were analyzed by using t-test, one-way ANOVA, pearson’s correlation coefficients and Multiple regression analysis.
 Results The factors affecting the HPV vaccination intention of female fresh men in university students included subject norm(β=.44, p<.001), attitudes(β=.28, p<.001), perceived behavior control(β=.20, p=.020) to receive to HPV vaccination. These factors accounted for 56.0% of the adjustment of college life(p<.001).
 Conclusions It is important to find ways to improve of the HPV intention of female fresh men in university students and there is a need to include education programs or practical intervention to strengthen HPV vaccination intentions.
