Abstract
The relevance of introducing artificial intelligence (AI) systems in agriculture is explained by the need to automate the processes of agricultural production, the shortage of personnel, and the need to increase the competitiveness of production. The purpose of the study is to determine the main areas of application of these artificial intelligence systems in agriculture. The main areas of application of the systems are: crop yield forecasting, irrigation optimization, livestock production optimization, monitoring of plant and animal diseases, optimization of the engine life of tractors, combines and other agricultural machines. The main problems in using AI systems in agriculture are the need for a large amount of data to train these systems, the need to improve the skills of workers and adapt production processes to the implementation of these systems.
