Abstract
The research of ethnonyms and methods of their presentation is an actual problem of modern ethnolinguistic because ethnicity is an important component of social identity. Generalization of the sense of the notion ethnonym and the methods of their presentation allows to develop the appropriate models of their practical application. The analysis of this issue is important in terms of criteria for selecting lexicographic material for the planned study of the dynamics of lexicographic representation of ethnicity.
