Abstract
Project office is a relatively new phenomenon in the field of project management. In a rapidly changing socio-economic environment, today’s companies are under increasing pressure to adapt to new market requirements. To remain competitive, organizations must restructure and implement new management systems that respond to the challenges of the times. Project management has long proven its effectiveness and has become an indispensable tool for successful conduct of activities for almost all organizations. However, the shift to project-oriented management often requires a rethinking of traditional organizational structures and new approaches. One of these approaches is the implementation of a project office, which forms the whole system of project and office management.
