Abstract
In this study, an on-site measurement was conducted on an outdoor unit integrated air conditioner system with a water cooler as a cooling system for small residential spaces, and the application effect of the proposed system was analyzed through laboratory performance evaluation under limited conditions to verify the effectiveness of the water cooler. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that the dry air temperature of the indoor discharge port was 11.2℃ on the average, and if indoor cooling is required, rapid cooling is performed within 10 minutes to create a pleasant indoor temperature condition in summer. As a result of analyzing the internal temperature of the condenser and the water temperature distribution of the supplied water to operate the water-cooled condenser, it was confirmed that a method to activate the drain function is required if it rises above a certain temperature. As a result of calculating the distribution of enthalpy at the inlet and outlet of the development system based on the measured dry bulb temperature and relative humidity, the average enthalpy difference between suction air and discharge air was 20.6 kJ/kg. As a result of comparing the average power consumption of the air-cooled type and the water-cooled type, the average power consumption of the air-cooled type was 940W and 818W for the water-cooled type, indicating a 12.98% reduction in electric energy.
