Abstract
The government organization provides funding to media organizations. But this funding is ambiguous and non-transparent, which is the main reason for researching the above topic. The article aimed to analyze the types of funding provided by the government to media organizations and determine the current situation. In this context, the current situation of the media in Mongolia, as well as the funding provided by the government to media organizations, were discussed in the following three groups of topics: 1. Cooperation agreement signed by the government organization with the media; 2. Media department under the government organization, 3. Official financial support provided by the government to media organizations.
