Abstract

The article examines the problems of the participation of the state and social institutions in the cultural life of Russian society. The main resources of the relevant state cultural policy, which include both state and civil structures, are analyzed. The levels of social interaction between cultural policy and society – micro-, meso-, macro- and mega-level – are highlighted for the study. The main priorities of the activities of state cultural insti-tutions in accordance with the main tasks of the state cultural policy are highlighted, the main promising direc-tions for the formation of an institutional space for interaction between the existing system of cultural services and the population, the need to overcome the existing self-exclusion of state structures from influencing the cultural activity of the population are considered. The proposed solutions for further improvement of the state cultural policy in this context may be of interest to a wide range of specialists in the field of culture and art.
