Abstract

authors of this article note that one of the widely used in practice methods of strength calculation of structures is the finite element method (FEM). FEM is a procedure of approximate solution of differential equations. It was originally designed for solving problems related to the calculation of strength of structures, that is, to calculate forces, stresses and strains in solids.
