Abstract
The article highlights a relatively small practice concerning the activities of the Perm Krai Pardon commission. Goal – to summarize the results of the activities of the Perm Krai Pardon Commission. The work of the Perm Krai pardon Commission from 2018 to 2021 was reviewed. A tendency has been established to reduce the number of persons applying for clemency on the territory of Russia, which is due to the general orientation of criminal legislation towards humanization. In addition, it is proved that the President of the Russian Federation is not connected with the regional position determined by the commission on pardoning and the head of the subject of the Russian Federation regarding the expediency of applying a pardon to a convicted person.
