Abstract

The concept “lifeworld” plays the key role in the non-classical worldview. In Jürgen Habermas’s philosophy, based on the traditions of phenomenology and social constructivism, it is used to substantiate the theory of communicative action. The article is devoted to the consideration of the philosophical concept “lifeworld” through the lenses of intersubjectivism. The work is aimed at studying the evolution of this complex philosophical notion and uncovering new actual possibilities for its use in the modern public sphere. Special attention is paid to the discourse rules and procedures, according to which subjects’ will accord is achieved .
