Abstract

The social demand and need for the appraisal for the Value of Green have been increased by enforcement of Certification of Green Buildings in accordance with the 「Green Buildings Construction Support Act」 in 2013. These social attention also has been generated by 'Net Zero Emissions by 2050' according to Green-Remodeling and Zero-Energy Building. Therefore, the authors studied the objective evaluation and needs for reflection on the appraisal of 'Value of Green'. We also sought to find the appraisal method of the reasonable and fair market value of green buildings. This paper aims to analyze the appraisal system for Green Buildings in Republic of Korea and other major countries. In addition, this paper suggests the alternative appraisal of Green Buildings and the establishment of standards for appraisal practice for 'Value of Green', the production and distribution of unit price tables for new construction and manual, and the DB construction of green buildings appraisal cases.
