Abstract

The article analyzes and evaluates the current legal regulation of monitoring in the strategic planning system. The methodological strategy of the article is a synthesis of general scientific methods and special private law methods. The author identifies institutionalization signs of the monitoring in the strategic planning system and lists the factors that impede such institutionalization. It is concluded that a shift in the legislative approach to monitoring is necessary. Monitoring should be an effective tool for strategic planning and increasing public trust in government. The author proposes ways to improve the legal regulation of monitoring in the strategic planning system.
