Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify and classify linguistic means expressing one of the basic ontological categories - the category of tense in the linguistic worldview of the Crimean Tatars. The authors study tense markers represented by different types of linguistic means: nouns, adjectives, adverbs, as well as free and fixed combinations of words of different types. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the fact that for the first time in the Crimean Tatar language the category of tense is studied as a universal linguistic phenomenon that has a dual - linguistic and cultural - essence. As a result of the research, it was revealed that temporal nominators in the Crimean Tatar language are represented both by various parts of speech: nouns, adjectives and adverbs that reflect any fragment or aspect of the category of tense, and by paroemiс expressions and phraseological units. In the process of analysis, special attention is paid to verbal and super-verbal language units, the content of which contains concepts that are significant for the Crimean Tatar ethnoculture, reflecting the features of the traditional life of the people and ways of perceiving and evaluating the surrounding reality.
