Abstract

Abstract Based on the discovery of a new epigenetic phenomenon (during the implementation of the DIAS program) - a change in the spectrum (set) of gene products under the trait of productivity when the limiting environmental factor changes - a theory of ecological-genetic organization of a quantitative trait was created and developed, from which 20 new biological, quantitatively predictable, consequences, 10 know-how and 16 innovative technologies for designing breakthrough plant varieties. With the use of these technologies, 4 varieties of grain crops have been created, giving a high economic effect. The physical instruments and equipment necessary for more efficient creation of new productive varieties are described. Key words: plant breeding, epigenetics, theory of ecological-genetic organization of quantitative traits, phytotron for breeding.
