Abstract

The article is devoted to the study and analysis of the existing models of the organization of management of the tourism sector in Syria. The paper identifies the main tasks, including the analysis of the current models of management of the tourism industry in the country, the identification of the main approaches and principles on which the current management models depend, the assessment of the effectiveness and efficiency of these models, the identification of the strengths and weaknesses of the existing management systems, as well as the provision of recommendations and proposals for the development of an effective management model. The results of the study can be used to prepare and provide recommendations to tourism organizations and responsible government agencies for improving the management of the industry, as well as for the training of tourism personnel based on the analysis of existing management models, and thereby increasing the competitiveness of Syrian tourism.
