Abstract
Objective: To estimate the influence of dynamic processes in the system «car – track», considering different structures of undercarriages to the resistance to the train motion and power consumption for the train traction. Methods: This paper uses mathematic simulation method. Results: A significant difference was found between the theoretical results, obtained by using simulation methods, and the results, obtained by using nominal equations, in estimation of power consumption. Practical importance: Results of the research demonstrate, that it is necessary to adjust the techniques of estimation of resistance to the train motion and corresponding calculations of expenses for train traction because of alterations of structures of modern bogies.
