Abstract

The article updates the scientific development of economic tools for assessing possible environmental and economic risks in the Baikal region. Environmental risks in agricultural production are considered, production losses are calculated using the example of the southern territories. An economic assessment of the consequences of hydrological risks is shown using the example of flooding of agricultural land in the Kabansky district. The features of institutional regulation of environmental protection, as well as regulatory factors of economic activity for agricultural environmental management are presented. The technical and technological costs that cause an increase in production costs in crop and livestock production, lost profits and direct product losses are analyzed.
