Abstract

The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for the development of desirable and reasonable leisure programs for senior welfare centers to contribute to improving the quality of life of senior. The subjects of this study were 500 senior regularly participating in leisure programs at least four times a week in frequency for more than five years, at senior welfare centers. Valid responses from 463 of the subjects were analyzed through SPSS 17.0, and the following are the findings: First, it was found that leisure enjoyment, rehabilitation treatment, emotional stability, and social factors of senior participating in leisure programs at senior welfare centers have significant influence on their psychological satisfaction. Second, it was found that leisure enjoyment, rehabilitation treatment, health management, and social factors of senior participating in leisure programs at senior welfare centers have significant influence on their environmental satisfaction. Third, it was found that rehabilitation treatment, health management, and emotional stability of senior participating in leisure programs at senior welfare centers have significant influence on their physiological satisfaction. Fourth, it was found that leisure enjoyment, health management, emotional stability, and social factors of senior participating in leisure programs at senior welfare centers have significant influence on their educational satisfaction. Fifth, it was found that leisure enjoyment, health management, and social factors of senior participating in leisure programs at senior welfare centers have significant influence on their social satisfaction. Sixth, it was found that leisure enjoyment, rehabilitation treatment, health management, emotional stability, and social factors of senior participating in leisure programs at senior welfare centers have significant influence on their recreational satisfaction.
