Abstract

The Internet technologies are allocated to a separate specific group, from the general set of information technologies. Their specificity is due to the use of the Internet. In this regard, it is advisable to use modern elements of Internet technologies in the framework of tourist and recreational design of destinations, the definition of which we have given in the article. The article defines that a tourist and recreational destination should be an object of regional design in the representation of territorial, recreational systems of different levels. It is noted that tourist destinations and their image attract tourists, motivate them and activate the entire tourist system. The existing problems of information support for tourist destinations at the regional level can be solved by using tourist and geographic information systems in planning and managing tourism. Based on the functions of Internet marketing as a modern technological Internet tool, the stages of designing the activities of tourist and recreational destinations using modern Internet technologies have been determined.
