Abstract

This article presents a clinical follow-up of a 41-year-old patient with the recurrence of deep infiltrating endometriosis affecting the urinary tract. A multidisciplinary approach to examination and treatment contributed to the successful outcome of laparoscopic surgery, which included adhesiolysis, resection of the left ovary, excision of endometrioid infiltrates in the left parametrium, rectovaginal septum and vagina, posterior wall of the urinary bladder, left ureterocystostomy. The dynamic 6-month follow-up revealed no signs of recurrence of the disease and upper urinary tract dilatation, which made it possible to start preparing for next pregnancy. Key words: recurrence of deep infiltrating endometriosis, multidisciplinary approach, laparoscopy, excision of multifocal endometrioid infiltrates, ureterocystostomy
