Abstract

The purpose of the study was to identify factors influencing service satisfaction of youth living shelters, with a special focus on the impact of client- centered practice. To answer the major research question, surveyed data from nationwide sample of 104 youth living shelters was analyzed. Result of the hierachical regression analysis showed that levels of client-centered practice of worker in youth shelters had a significant positve effect on service satisfaction, after accounting for control variables in the study. Based on the results of the study, details of social work implications to improve service satisfaction of youth living shelters were discussed.
