Abstract

As logistics outsourcing has become a general management technique, it is changing from an outsourcing form of simple functions in the past to a higher level of outsourcing. From the perspective of logistics companies, logistics outsourcing is now recognized as an important factor that can be determined at the strategic level of the company, and logistics outsourcing is being promoted in a direction that can increase responsiveness to customers. Therefore, the form of logistics outsourcing is expanding from functional areas such as transportation, storage, and unloading to value-added areas in products or services in the past, and furthermore, it is evolving into an area that outsources the entire logistics process in an integrated way. This study considered the general concept of logistics strategies and through empirical analysis, investigated the effect on logistics performance by using logistics function outsourcing (operation function outsourcing, planning function outsourcing) as parameters according to logistics strategies. As a result, it was found that logistics companies set logistics operation methods according to the company’s logistics strategy, and it has a positive (+) effect on the company’s operational performance through outsourcing of the logistics function.
