Abstract

Legal policy acts as a means of organizing the legal life of society. Moreover, it is not so important how the ac-tivity in the legal sphere will be evaluated from the point of view of legal progress: positively or negatively. If there is a right, if there are social relations that need a legal form, then it is already possible to talk about the legal policy pursued by the state. The problems of its formation acquire particular relevance and practical sig-nificance at crucial moments in the development of society, moments of searching for new meanings and ideological justifications, fresh legal ideas of a strategic nature. The study attempts to identify the nature and specifics of legal policy, as well as its structure. The evolution of scientific interest in this phenomenon is shown. It substantiates the need to continue active research in this direction, first of all, at the general theoretical level in order to first of all define the key concepts.
