Abstract
The effect of humic preparations from sapropel on the growth and development of vegetable crops zucchini and tomatoes was studied. The experiment was carried out in the Aksay district of the Rostov region in the village Starocherkasskaya. The results of the study pointed that humic preparations are quite effective independently of the reagent used for extraction. However, the vegetable crops responsiveness to preparations distinguishes. The best results were shown by a humic preparation obtained using sodium hydroxide. The second place was taken by a preparation extracted using EDTA. Lower results were shown by sodium carbonate and hot water.
