Abstract
The article is focused on the history of the development of the school of ultrasound diagnostics in the Russian Far East and specifically in the medical organizations of the Khabarovsk Krai. The period covered is from 1980 to the present. The author notes the specialists who were at the origins of the new specialty, the organization of the educational process and scientific work on the basis of the Postgraduate Insitute of Public Health Workers in Khabarovsk, the promotion of the ultrasound diagnostic method to other regions of the Russian Far East. In the last part of the article, the author notes the number of trained specialists for 2002–2022, as well as the geography of students
