Abstract
To identify the most effective pulse sequence of MRI tomography to improve the quality of diagnosis of ovarian diseases. Materials and methods. The study was conducted in 10 patients who underwent MRI diagnostics of ovarian diseases in the OKB of Khanty-Mansiysk. Results. T2 weighted images, in contrast to T1, are the most informative in their contrast for detecting pathology – most ovarian tumors have an increased water content and therefore are characterized by an increased signal on T2 VI. The image data obtained with T2 pulse sequences are very sensitive to susceptibility artifacts, that is, to local changes in the uniformity of the magnetic field. Informative MRI scan after intravenous administration of contrast agent has a number of additional pulse sequences, which increases the quality of the study.
