Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the ways of diaspora mission in Central Asia by focusing on the Lausanne documents about the diaspora mission. The Bible sees diaspora as objects of love, care, and mission. The Lausanne Movement also recognizes the diaspora phenomenon as a means for God’s purpose in God’s absolute sovereignty. The Bible and Lausanne’s view on diaspora confirm that the diaspora is in God’s plan. Central Asia is one of the fields where migration is actively occurring due to a variety of reasons. Diaspora missions in this area are emerging as a new task for modern missions. There is also an urgent need for missionary research and practice on mission for diaspora scattered throughout the region.
