Abstract
The article discusses the results of the implementation of the State program of import substitution in the aviation industry, implemented at the enterprises of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), since 2014. Significant successes of Russian aircraft manufacturers are noted, which, in difficult conditions of sanctions pressure, managed to master their own production of domestic components. This made it possible to bring new modern competitive aircraft to the world market, the production of which now does not depend on the unpredictable policies of foreign countries. The necessity of wide application of the policy of import independence in the production of own aircraft, helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles to ensure the national security of the Russian Federation is advocated. The conclusion is made about the high efficiency of the State Program for the Development of the Aviation Industry, which sets high production rates, providing them with the necessary funding and state support of domestic manufacturers of modern high-tech equipment.
