Результатом господдержки инновационного развития Ленинградской области может стать качественный процесс модернизации всех традиционных секторов экономики региона, дальнейшее развитие кластерной системы, широкое использование географического положения в плане экспортного и транзиторного потенциала, а также поддержка самостоятельных проектов и совместных с Санкт-Петербургом предприятий на основе партнерства

Composition of the program of social and economic development of the Leningrad region and its practical importance as a tool for state support of innovative development. При этом социально-экономические условия для инновационной деятельности в регионе находятся на 47-м месте, причем стоит отметить значительное падение в рейтинге по сравнению с 2014 г. Качество государственной поддержки инновационного развития Ленинградской области находится только на 59-м месте в рейтинге.
