Abstract
This study was conducted to find out how complex exercise was applied to obese middle-aged women and how it affects stress factors and antioxidant functions. It was conducted for 70 minutes, including preparation and clean-up exercise, 3 times a week for a total of 8 weeks. For the measurement, repeated measures ANOVA was performed to see the interaction effect on the results measured twice before and after the exercise program, and the conclusion was obtained as follows. As a result of applying complex exercise to obese middle-aged women, among the stress factors, α-amylase showed a significant difference in the measurement period, and showed an interaction effect between the period × group. In addition, although there was a significant change in blood active oxygen, there was no significant difference in all factors, and there was no interaction effect. As a result of applying complex exercise to obese middle-aged women, the total antioxidant power, which is the antioxidant function, showed significant changes between groups, and showed an interaction effect between the period × group. Looking at the results shown above, compound exercise decreased α-amylase and blood active oxygen, which are stress factors, in obese middle-aged women, and the effect of compound exercise was shown by increasing antioxidant function. Based on the results shown in such a short period of time, it is expected that if it is applied for a long period of time in a more detailed manner as an exercise prescription, it will play a big role in relieving stress and living a healthy life, that is, the immune function of the human body.
