Abstract
The article considers the issues of thermal shock resistance of carbon materials. To obtain a composite material, the method of electric arc treatment with a relatively low current value was used. The resulting material and its properties correspond to the concept of a double electric layer at the interface, which is due to the orientation of carbon molecules.
