Abstract

In the modern world, the use of information technology (IT) is becoming increasingly important for the effectiveness of employment support programs. However, existing theories such as human capital theory and theories related to technological change and skills emphasize that skill development is a key factor for success in the labor market. This text examines the impact of digitalization on labor relations and the labor market. Discusses changes brought about by digital transformation, including the transition to flexible forms of employment and remote work. The need to adapt the education system to new requirements is emphasized and the role of the state, employers and workers in the humanization of social and labor relations is considered. Attention is also drawn to the problems of discrimination in the labor market caused by digital technologies. In conclusion, the significance of changes in the world of work and the need to formalize and strengthen them in legislation are noted.
