Развитие патриотизма в молодежной среде в онлайн-пространстве

Abstract

Introduction. The relevance of the study is determined due to the fact that online space is a new type of platform, where all forms of communication, educational process, and information notification are concentrated. Online space is a platform with great potential for consolidation of civil society, through which it is possible to broadcast and instill patriotic values among young people. In this regard, the necessity of a sociological analysis of role and place of patriotic practices, organized in the form of network in comparison with other types of patriotic practices, is substantiated. Materials and Methods. The article uses results of the author's expert survey (N = 164) conducted in the South of Russia among representatives of state and municipal authorities, employees of scientific and educational institutions, public organizations and nonprofit organizations, youth organizations and mass media, as well as the results of mass sociological survey, obtained during implementation of the research project “Civil patriotism in formation and development of solidarity practices in the South of Russia: resource potential and conditions for its implementation” (N=2000). Results and its discussion. For Russian youth virtual network patriotic practices are a priority from the point of view of the form of organizing patriotic events, but level of their effectiveness is assessed lower in comparison with “real” practices organized outside the Internet. Effectiveness of patriotic practices of youth, both organized with online technologies and in real interaction and activities without accessing Internet resources, is associated with formation of patriotic subjectivity of youth. It is important that young people themselves initiate patriotic events, taking into account their patriotic needs and interests, as well as orientations towards priority forms of organizing patriotic activities.
