Abstract

This research is a Meta-analysis of 25 researches which studied the divorced-family children, published during 2010∼2019, using CMA3 program. My meta-analysis tried to find (1) if the psycho-therapeutical intervention programs for the divorced-family children have some effects generally, (2) which programs (independent variables) have the biggest effects, (3) to which aspects of the adjustment (dependent variables) those programs have the biggest effects, (4) how the effects vary according to the method of program operation (mediating variables). The results are: (1) the programs for the divorced-family children have some effects generally but the effects are not so big (0.24 effects sizes), (2) Dance Movement Therapy and Solution-Centered-Short-Term Therapy have the biggest effects but Rational-Emotive-Behavior Therapy(REBT) and Bibliotherapy have the smallest effects, (3) Those programs have the biggest effects in the domain (aspect) of School LIfe Adjustment, and have the small effects in the domain(aspect) of Behavior Adjustment and Psycho-Social Adjustment. (4) (Concerning the program operation, especially levels of school) at the high school level and the elementary school level, intervention programs were effective in some degree, however at the middle school level, intervention programs produced almost no effects.
