Abstract

The article is about the actual problem of professional development of persons with hearing impairments. Based on the qualitative research method — biographical interview, the research revealed the characteristics of elite strategies of engineer professional development with hearing impairments. The elite strategy is presented as a dynamic system of professional orientation of the personality, who is aimed at deliberate change and design of his/her live in the context of its professionalization and development of a professional future. The paper identifi es and examines the main personal factors that infl uence on the process of forming the competence of an elite specialist with hearing impairments and the versatility of his/her professional activities. Due to the formation of operational and tactical psychological characteristics that the elite scenario of personal and professional development for hearing impaired engineers is realized. The research has the conclusion about the impact of labor market requirements, educational and professional environment on the formation and implementation of the elite strategies of professional formation of specialists with hearing impairments.
