Abstract

Based on the results of the analysis of the development trend of the global innovation economy, the presence of high competition in the GII ranking, including in the group of 50 advanced countries of the ranking, was revealed. Based on the analysis of the countries of the Top 50 GII rankings in terms of per capita income, the possibility of Uzbekistan entering the top 50 countries of the GII rankings is substantiated. The ratings of Vietnam and India are analyzed as accompanying countries for the entry of Uzbekistan into the Top 50 countries of the GII rating. In order to improve the “Human Capital and Research” index, it is proposed to study the experience of Kazakhstan. The results of the study will serve as the basis for the formation of the Strategy for Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in subsequent years.
