Abstract

In the present paper, an algorithm for calculating the stability of a fragment of a ribbed slab of the roadway, which is part of the structure of overpass No. 2 across the Volga River in Ulyanovsk, is developed and presented. Calculation algorithm: a) Linear calculation of the entire span by a beam model; b) linear calculation of the cross girder; c) geometrically nonlinear calculation of a selected fragment of the slab. The stability factor was calculated. The linear calculation showed that wave formation in the plate occurs under the load Ркр = 7,995 Ррасч ; the value of the stability factor from the nonlinear calculation was Ркр = 5,4 Ррасч.
