Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to discuss improving existing sports facilities, leaders, programs, laws, and system improvements in the public sector and to present a plan to revitalize community-centered life sports or sports for all by having collaboration between the public and private sectors.BR Method: In this study, various academic and official documents related to sports vitalization were analyzed. Study documents included peer-reviewed academic papers, policy reports, media reports, and official documents open to the public.BR Results: Three improvement plans to vitalize regional sports for lifew ere presented in the study. First, institutional policies and a customized support system are needed to revitalize regional life sports. In addition, it is essential to understand the steps that activate sports for all. Second, smart branding of local sports for all is required as a key measure to revitalize local sports. Smart branding refers to branding life sports and the city where the proposed plan belongs. Also, it is necessary to understand the internal and external environment of the region, evaluate the available resources, and derive the optimal plan. Branding is expected to create jobs, add value to the locals, and increase dollar revenue. The positive impact will grow bigger if it is accompanied by tourism. Third, administrative support should be guaranteed for the success of the plan. Clear communication with local governments is very important, along with the unyielding support from elected officials and appropriate legal arrangements. In addition, financial support from local governments and revenue-generating businesses is essential.BR Conclusion: In this study, plans to revitalize sports for all are presented, including the need to integrate existing measures centered on support for the three elements of sports for all: facilities, instructors, and programs. Additionally, attention should be paid to the improving participation rates in quality rather than quanty. In addition, it is necessary to discover sports that are specific to the locality and brand them accordingly. Furthermore, it is important to create an environment where active participation of residents in local sports clubs can be promoted, which is one of the main objectives of sports for all.
