Abstract
Professor Iosif Abramovich Sternin is an extraordinary Russian philologist and educator. His innovative scientific thought is widely known in Russia and abroad. The article presents how I.A. Sternin’s psycholinguistic theory evolves in China. Furthermore, the personal friendship between Prof. Sternin and the author is also described.
