Abstract

The article examines the actual scientific and practical problem of generalizing methodological and applied approaches for substantiating the prospects of production (investment) internationalization for manufacturers of building materials. Special attention has been paid to the internationalization of the Ukrainian manufacturing business and the justification of the type of internationalization strategy in terms of the perspective of EU membership, as well as the challenges of the construction industry regarding the objective reduction of domestic demand for the products of manufacturers of building materials. It has been noted that in the conditions of globalization, it is characteristic for sustainable innovative production companies to create branches abroad in those countries where there are the most favorable conditions for the components of the single innovation chain "development of an innovative product-production-market". The author emphasizes that Ukrainian construction exporting enterprises should pay attention to promising directions for occupying the most dynamic niches of the world construction market in the near future; in particular, this applies to technologies and products related to sustainable (green) construction. It has been proven that Ukrainian manufacturing enterprises in the construction sector have significant prospects for the implementation of successful internationalization strategies on the European market; for this, carefully substantiated perspectives and detailed concrete projects of the investment internationalization strategy should be built. For Ukrainian producers of ecological building materials, the most effective method of penetrating foreign markets is considered to be the production abroad. The author singles out three groups of relevant strategies, defines the main forms of the production strategy of internationalization, and also summarizes the main risks that may arise during the implementation of such strategies. Conclusions have been drawn and the nearest prospects for further research in this issue have been determined.
