Abstract
이 연구는 오늘날 고용형태의 다변화, 노동시장의 양극화, 성별직종분리가 뒤얽히고 있는 현실 속에서 주변부 여성 노동자의 이해대변을 살펴보고자 한다. 한국 사회 여성노동에 대한 연구들은 주로 성별직종분리 현황 및 성별임금격차의 발생 구조를 분석하거나, 여성들이 노동시장에서 얼마나 차별받고 있는가를 다루어 왔다. 그러나 여성노동자들의 대응에 대해서는 많이 다루어지지 않았다. 이러한 점에서 이 연구는 노동시장의 약자로서 여성노동자들이 경험하는 문제의 양상을 파악하고, 그 문제를 해결하기 위해 활동한 방과후강사 직종의 사례를 살펴보았다. 공교육과 사교육, 자영업자와 노동자, 일터와 가정의 경계에 서있는 방과후강사 직종의 사례를 중심으로 여성중심직종 노동자들이 일터에서 경험한 문제들과 그에 대해 대응 방법으로써의 노동조합 조직화 및 활동 사례들을 살펴보면서, 주변부 여성노동자의 이해대변의 특징과 향후 과제를 살펴본다.
