Abstract

Rational nutrition of students is the key to a healthy lifestyle. The functioning of the body as a whole depends on the lifestyle of a person. The purpose of the study is to identify the peculiarities of the habits of students of the Vyatka State University (Vyatka State University) associated with eating. Material and methods of research: a study of the peculiarities of the habits of students of the Vyatka State University associated with eating has been conducted. The number of respondents was 100 people. A questionnaire-type questionnaire developed using Google Form and Microsoft Excel programs was used. The survey was conducted in October 2021. Students of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd courses of Vyatka State University, including 45 boys and 55 girls, participated in the study of the peculiarities of eating habits. Of these, 22 boys and 16 girls accounted for the age group of 17-19 years, 23 boys and 39 girls for the age group of 20 years and older. Research results: 50% of 3rd year students took part in the questionnaire on eating behavior. 2nd year students made up 32%, and 1st year students made up 18%. The conducted study of the peculiarities of the habits of Vyatka State University students related to eating showed that, in the opinion of the students themselves, they eat irrationally, often eat fried, salty, spicy food, their diet is disrupted. Based on the conducted research, the directions for improving the organization of rational nutrition of students are highlighted. For the organization of rational nutrition of students, it is necessary to review the catering system of higher educational institutions, including rationality and nutrition regime. Organize canteens for regular meals, with a balanced caloric content of products on the menu. To develop a culture of rational nutrition among young people. To ensure that students undergo regular medical examinations for the timely detection of diseases. Optimize physical activity of students. Rational nutrition of students of higher educational institutions is the key to the future of the country's population. It is necessary to actively promote the principles of rational nutrition among students of Vyatka State University to preserve health.
