Abstract

This research explores the concept of civil peace within the Prophet's Sunnah (sayings and practices). It examines the theoretical foundations, practical applications, and historical emphasis on peace throughout the Prophet's life. The goal is to extract valuable lessons for promoting peace in today's world. The focus is on highlighting the importance of peace in society and reviving Islamic legal principles for handling disagreements between social groups, emphasizing dialogue over conflict. The research concludes by proposing the Prophet's Sunnah and biography as a model for managing societal disagreements. It calls for reviewing Islamic jurisprudence on peace and disagreement, re-evaluating interpretations in light of contemporary challenges, and implementing educational and media initiatives that promote the values of peace.
